Image  Objective:______________________________________________________
"To display, for comparative studies, photos of ancient Lake Superior Basin Copper Forms representing specimens collected over the past centuries by diverse students of copper, in several Great Lakes States & Provinces in the US and Canada.  We present these photos and associated data to facilitate research and understanding of prehistoric mining, crafting, and use of copper, by the Old Copper Complex people.  To the best of our knowledge and research, all specimens pictured are authentic representation of this region.  Opinions expressed are the views of the authors and we encourage comments in regard to those views.  Viewers are encouraged to send photos of individual Copper Forms, to enlarge our photo database of Types & Varieties."
